Sharps XPB BCG 5.56
I have put together only one AR15 .223 many years ago, so no expert. But I was starting to look to build up a few more before they get banned & wanted to see who was making better quality products. This Sharps BCG came highly recommended from another reviewer (on YouTube) as compared to several others being reviewed. The main aspect was the S7 grade steel, hardest steel being used for a BCG (as compared to other producers of BCG's) in the price point range. I think someone else is doing titanium BCG, but price is way out there. This was on sale at time of purchase, making it a good deal, even if it was twice as much compared to a carpenter 158 version. The bolt design was also another consideration, should not really need a forward assist version upper with the way the bolt lugs are cut.
